Adventure 17 – Widdowmaker Removal
After Adventure 16 trying to remove the fallen tree with a rope and stick pulley I went for the stronger and safer approach. I use a Come Along and steel rope to remove the tree. Check out the action here:
I would recommend using this method. It seems to work well gave me plenty of time to get out of the way. I have a feeling that I will be using this device many times in the future.
This is the way to do it, if you go low on the tree you are pulling all the dirty and muck that it is stuck in. Go as high as you can. Unless you have a tractor of a team of mules then you can do it from the bottom. Good job stay safe.

Thank you! Yes trying to pull from the bottom was just not happening. This tree was in the ground about a foot in the packed dirt so it was not budging. No team of mules here haha
