I have been saving a couple peach seeds to plant on the land for next years growing season. I am not sure that the growing season is long enough for a peach to produce very much real fruit but I thought that I would give it a try.
From what I have read the best way to save a seed is to place it in a bag and then put it in the refrigerator. I will check the ones that I am saving to make sure that they are not molding and rotting.
The peach in this picture had cracked the outer shell and I thought that I would go ahead and plant it in a small pot just to see if it would continue to grow. It has already germinated.
