Back when I was around 15 I got my first job as a outdoor gear salesman at a little store called “The Main Street Outpost.” It has closed now but I learned a good bit about nice outdoor gear back then. Its to bad that I did not have money to buy much because I would have gotten a lot of nice stuff.
When I was at work one day a boot salesman from chaco boots came in and gave us his talk about how awesome the boots were and he was right. But in that talk he told me that I should tie my laces in a different way to keep them from slipping as I walked. On the hooks that go up the side of the boot I needed to lace from the top of the hook to the bottom so that they would overlap and keep them from getting lose.
