My co-worker has a small cabin in the woods and she does not use it in the winter and was asking me if there was some way of heating it without fuel or electricity. I told her that there were a few ways but there was one way that seemed to fit her needs well. This heater is not going to replace the use of electric or gas heat but it will supplement the use of those. So I have started making the first of several passive solar heaters. This model uses double pane glass as the transparent material but in the final version I will be using polycarbonite. I have a lot of testing to do with this fun project and I will keep you updated.
