Small Pelton Wheel

Today I was able to find a couple minuets of free time and I thought that I would work on a small 7″ Pelton Wheel that I had started a few weeks ago. The video below shows what it looks like and how I made it. … The video was made for Bryan so ignore when I say “your technique” unless you are making these too and then . . . never mind.

So what does a Pelton Wheel do and why did I make one? Well as I said in another post on the Blog I am working with Bryan for our business called HomeMadeVolts. The Pelton Wheel is a component of a micro hydro system that we are working on. It allows water from a jet to spin a motor then electricity is made.
